LÉONIE—Latin for “Lioness”
Studio Léonie is a love letter to Burma, where I grew up surrounded by tailors, actors and filmmakers who helped ignite my creative passion for designing and making art. Despite being immersed in this rich creative culture in a country famed for its silks and intricate crafts, I struggled to find modern, easy to wear pieces made from those exquisite local materials. After years of research, sampling and testing, I am pleased to launch
Studio Léonie.
The minimalist designs showcase hand loomed Lotus fibers, silk, banana and cotton with dyes drawn from seasonal plants, barks, roots and flowers. Each capsule collection is produced as a small release and in limited quantities to help cut down on waste and over production.
In addition, you will also find a carefully curated selection of jewelry, one of a kind treasures and abstract artworks.
